While I’ve been doing a lot of talking about current clothing trends, I realized that there are some cool makeup trends going on right now. I know that makeup can be a sticky subject for us Clueless Fashionistas. Either you don’t have time to wear any or you go without or you found a look that works and you stick with it, regardless of when you first wore the look! Then there are those of you that fall somewhere in between those extremes. Well I’m here to help with not only a list of makeup trends for spring 2009, but I will follow up with a “How do I wear that trend” series that explains how to incorporate the different makeup trends. I’m excited because the spring makeup trends are all about a natural, easy look. I think you will enjoy learning how to do these looks as well. If there is a trend you don’t see on this list, please send me a message. If it’s a trend you want to participate in, let me know and I will add it to the list and create a post about it.

Silver , the psychic mind, love, and healing.

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Silver was once thought more precious than gold. It is referred to as the metal of the moon and some believe it has powers over emotions, the psychic mind, love, and healing.

This is a very soft metal, so it is often mixed with an alloy like copper. Sterling silver originally was created in an area in Germany called Easterling. So that’s where the word sterling came from. To be sterling sliver, the metal is made up of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. For exmaple:The tiffany silver jewelry is one of them.

Pure silver, aka Fine Silver (.999), will melt at 1761 degrees F (961 degrees C), while sterling melts at 1434 degrees F (779 degreees C) and the flow point is 1655 degrees F (902 degrees C).

Coin silver melts at a slightly lower temperature than sterling because it has more copper alloy in it; usually any where for 10 to 20 percent of it is an alloy.

Their innovation exemplifies how best to approach advertising in the social web.

To determine the best pages, we looked at the most popular pages by fan count and then looked at interactions of the fans with the Page ratio (defined as comments, likes).
